On January 30, the officers of Judicial Services, along with the support of the CCSO’s Neighborhood Enforcement Team and K9 unit, were in search of Michael Anthony Kirk, Jr. in Waldorf, Maryland. Kirk, a 28-year-old resident of Waldorf, was wanted for violating probation on charges of theft over $25,000. Additionally, he had an active warrant for burglary in Virginia.
Officers successfully located and apprehended Kirk after diligently following leads. It was discovered that Kirk was in possession of a stolen vehicle at the time of his arrest.
Kirk was released on personal recognizance for the charges in Charles County. However, he is currently being held while awaiting extradition to Virginia. Officer Otey is actively conducting the investigation.
