Woman Fatally Stabbed In Brooklyn And Heroic Neighbor Holds Attacker Until Police Arrive

A woman was brutally stabbed in Brooklyn during a domestic dispute, and her son has been arrested as a person of interest in the killing, police and sources said.

Neighbors in East Flatbush came to the aid of a woman who was being attacked at 333 E. 92nd St. They heard her screams and quickly intervened, apprehending the attacker until the police arrived.

At 11:40 p.m., the residents of the seven-story building were startled by the woman’s desperate cries for help.

“I just heard a scream, a woman screaming, ‘Help me!’” claimed one tenant, 28, who requested anonymity. “After that, I heard a faint moan.”

Police responded to a 911 call and found the victim with stab wounds all over her body before detaining her son, according to authorities and sources.

Another man was seen holding the stabber down, and the good Samaritan decided to step in and assist.

“I went straight for the knife,” he explained. “It was a kitchen knife—a steak knife. The blade was 7 or 8 inches long. I grabbed the blade. I held onto it. He attempted to yank it away. “It sliced my fingers.”

No arrests have been made and the victim has not yet been officially identified.
