Florida Woman Taken Into Custody After Police Discover Drugs Inside Bag Labeled As “definitely Not A Bag Full Of Drugs”

Florida continues to live up to its reputation for unique and amusing incidents, and this time it’s Teryn Acri who takes center stage. In a bizarre attempt to avoid jail time, Acri believed that a bag adorned with some words had the power to keep her out of trouble. Unfortunately for her, this unconventional strategy did not work. Acri’s legal troubles began earlier this month when she was pulled over during a routine traffic stop. To the surprise of the officers, a significant quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were discovered in her vehicle. Consequently, she was charged with trafficking, possession with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Astonishingly, Acri managed to post a bail of $15,500 and was released back into society a few days later. However, her freedom was short-lived as she found herself back in custody over the weekend.

During another traffic stop, we crossed paths with our old friend Teryn Acri once again. The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office recently shared a delightful post recounting their second encounter with this familiar face. Let’s allow them to narrate the amusing turn of events:

The bag, humorously and ironically labeled “Definitely Not A Bag Full Of Drugs,” contained a wide array of drug-related items. It held methamphetamine, needles, Narcan, digital scales, small baggies, cut straws, and various other tools commonly used for drug consumption. Acri was promptly arrested once again, facing the same charges as before. This time, however, she was given a “no bond” status, which the sheriff’s office hopes will be upheld.

The previous post also mentions the well-known definition of insanity. In case you’re not familiar with it, insanity is described as “repeating the same action repeatedly and hoping for different outcomes.” This definition is often used to motivate athletes to alter their routines, but in this instance, it perfectly captures the behavior of the Florida woman involved in criminal activities. Did she genuinely believe that labeling a bag as “Definitely not a bag full of drugs” would deceive a police officer? Was she under the impression that law enforcement would encounter such a bag and simply overlook its contents?

When the officer opened the bag of drugs, I can only imagine that it was a sight to behold. It must have been reminiscent of a scene from a thrilling crime movie.
