Denver layover stabbing victim, a flight attendant from Phoenix, receives recognition

A group of friends, family, and colleagues came together on the tarmac at Sky Harbor Airport to pay tribute to a Phoenix flight attendant who tragically lost her life in Denver. Despite the heartbreak and sorrow, they found solace in the opportunity to honor her memory and say their final goodbyes.

A flight attendant from Phoenix is returning home on her last flight.

Celinda Levno, an experienced aviation professional with over 30 years of service, tragically lost her life this weekend in a senseless stabbing incident during a layover in Denver.

The arrival this afternoon was both solemn and beautiful when Celinda Levno’s body was brought to Sky Harbor on a plane.

Flight attendants gathered on the tarmac to pay tribute to their colleague and dear friend. Celinda’s family, including her sister Melanie, who is also a flight attendant at American Airlines, was present for the ceremony as well.

The person believed to be responsible for Levno’s death has been identified by authorities. Elijah Caudill, 24, is facing four charges, including murder and attempted murder.

According to The Denver Post, Levno is among the four victims in the attacks. The police have identified two other victims, a 49-year-old man and a 62-year-old man. Unfortunately, a fourth victim, who remains unidentified, also succumbed to their injuries.

Investigators believe that Caudill has no connection with the victims.
