The Florida Lottery recently announced that Debra Maffett of Dade City won a $1 million win in the $1,000,000 A Year For Life Spectacular scratch-off game.
The Pasco County woman elected to receive her prize in one lump sum payment of $640,000.
The Central Florida winner purchased her winning ticket at Publix, which is located at 11830 U.S. Highway 301 in Dade City. The store got a $2,000 additional commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
She went to the lottery’s Tampa District Office to claim her winnings.
The $50 scratch-off game, known as the $1,000,000 A Year For Life Spectacular, offers players the chance to win incredible prizes.
