Metrobus driver passes away after experiencing a medical emergency while driving

A tragic incident occurred in Riverdale, Md. as a Metrobus operator lost their life during a crash caused by a medical emergency while driving on Friday.

The crash occurred at approximately 7 a.m. on Rhode Island Avenue, specifically in the 6200 block near Queensbury Road in Riverdale.

According to officials, the operator was driving along the F4 route when the accident occurred. The vehicle collided with an empty building. It is believed that there were six individuals on board at the time, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
