Arizona Firefighters And Groups Are Stepping In To Help Victims Of The California Wildfires

Arizonans are coming together to support California in its fight against numerous devastating wildfires that have ravaged thousands of acres, demolished countless structures, and claimed multiple lives near Los Angeles.

Personnel from the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management have been sent to assist in battling the Eaton Fire.

Arizona crews are being dispatched to California to provide assistance in combating the devastating wildfires.

More Arizona Task Forces and crews are being sent to our neighboring state, with Central Arizona Fire and Medical crews joining the efforts on the ground.

“It’s the job that needs to get done and we’re the ones that do it,” Battalion Chief Rich Jones said.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Fire Department said Wednesday it “will remain ready to assist in the most challenging situations” and “we will continue to do everything possible to aid in response and recovery.”

Local organizations, such as One Step Wild Burros and Mustang Rescue, are actively providing assistance to the victims affected by the devastating California wildfires.

The organization based in New River is actively gathering donations and providing assistance to evacuees who require a safe haven for their livestock. They go the extra mile by connecting these individuals with other farms and facilities that can potentially offer support in this time of need.

“When people need help, it just feels good to be able to do that. And if doing something as little as communicating online…and making that drive, can make a difference, then again, it’s kind of a no-brainer,” said one volunteer.

The animal community in Arizona is coming together to provide assistance to those affected by the wildfires in California.

The Red Cross is urging Arizonans to step forward and offer assistance in any way they can, including donating blood.
