Arlington police are investigating a gunshot that allegedly involved a woman, her boyfriend, and her ex-boyfriend.
What We Know: Police responded to a shooting complaint on Claire Court about 10:40 p.m. on Saturday.
Officers came and discovered a 19-year-old with multiple apparent gunshot wounds. The hospital received the man in critical condition.
A witness told cops that he spotted the 19-year-old arguing with a woman outside of a house. During their quarrel, the male slapped the woman.
A 20-year-old male then walked out of the house and began fighting with the 19-year-old.
The fight included several gunshots.
Witnesses informed police that Destiny Lokeni, 18, picked up a gun and shot the 19-year-old.
According to investigators, Lokeni’s ex-boyfriend is 19 years old, and her new boyfriend is 20 years old.
A bullet grazed Lokeni during the battle and sent him to the hospital.
The 20-year-old arrived at the hospital later with gunshot wounds. Nobody expects the injuries to be life-threatening.
The accusation against Lokeni is aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The shooting is still being investigated.
