According to police, a double-decker bus collided with a railway bridge, resulting in the roof being ripped off and eight individuals being transported to the hospital.
Emergency services responded to a call about an incident on Culzean Crescent in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, just before 2pm on Thursday. Both police and ambulance crews were on the scene.
The scene captures photos of the Stagecoach bus where the top deck is exposed, with the roof resting on the road close by.
According to Police Scotland, eight individuals were transported to the hospital after the collision. Fortunately, there have been no reports of any severe injuries.
The Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson stated that they were notified of an incident on Culzean Crescent, Kilmarnock at 1.55pm.

Four patients were taken to University Hospital Crosshouse after one ambulance and three special operations response teams were sent to the scene.

The 6 service, which travels from Kilmarnock Bus Station to New Farm Loch, collided with a low bridge.
