A 3.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded around 6 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, as reported by the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake struck a location approximately 2.5 miles southeast of Uncertain, Texas, which is near the Texas-northwest Louisiana state line.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 5.0 km, equivalent to roughly three miles.
Several KSLA viewers reported feeling the earthquake, and the moment of the quake was captured on Ring video cameras in Blanchard. It not only startled the homeowner but also the two dogs in the house.
