A tragic incident occurred in Starkville, Mississippi, where a toddler unintentionally shot himself.
On Sunday, December 15th, an unfortunate accident took place at an apartment located on Louisville Street.
Starkville Police announced that they have determined that the 2-year-old boy accidentally shot himself after finding a gun in a drawer.
The child is currently in the hospital and is in a critical condition.
Nigel Cheatham, a 24-year-old resident of Starkville, has been taken into custody by deputies on charges of child deprivation.
