Ares Adle, a 20-year-old man convicted of murdering his aunt in Sun Lakes, Arizona, has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for the 2019 crime. Adle, who was just 14 years old at the time of the incident, committed the brutal act at a family home near Alma School and Chandler Heights on night of Feb. 1, 2019.

I’ve been stabbed.” She identified her nephew as the likely assailant before collapsing.
Deputies interviewed the victim’s sister, who recounted the terrifying ordeal. “She came and woke me up, holding her neck… She was running around, and we told her to sit down,” the sister testified, adding that her sibling initially stated she thought her nephew was responsible.
While authorities were investigating the scene, Adle was found asleep in a car and later taken into custody.
