Missing Littleton Woman’s Body Found, Death Ruled a Suicide

Authorities confirmed on Monday that Jayna Lang, a 46-year-old woman who went missing just before Thanksgiving, has been found deceased.

Lang was last seen on November 24 in Littleton. Investigators determined she was en route to Summit County and often visited Park County. Her family shared that Lang was passionate about the outdoors and loved exploring the mountains.

Lang’s brother, Eric Horvat, informed Denver7 that she was heading to the factory shops in Silverthorne on November 24, but she did not report to work in the days that followed. He noted that Lang communicated with her aunt daily, and her sudden silence raised concerns.

On Monday morning, Karlyn Tilley, a public information officer with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, announced that Lang’s body had been found. Tilley confirmed that Lang’s death was a suicide.
