Deputies from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office swiftly responded to a distress call at 718 Wild Pine Court around 4 pm on Sunday. Tragically, they discovered two lifeless bodies at the scene.
The authorities were joined by Linn County Sheriff Rescue 57, Iowa State Patrol, Springville Fire Department, and Anamosa Ambulance Service in their response to this devastating incident.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered two individuals with apparent gunshot injuries. They were then transported to the State Examiner’s Office in Ankeny for further examination. As of now, their identities are being kept confidential until their next of kin can be notified.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the incident. They have stated that there is no immediate danger to the public as a result of this incident.
