EBRSO: 3 Detained In Drug Busts At 5 Locations Over 3 Months

Multiple law enforcement agencies supported the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office in conducting an investigation that resulted in the arrest of a group running an accused drug trafficking organization.

From January to March, EBRSO’s Gang Intelligence and Enforcement Unit investigated three members of “The Motion Boyz” group for running a narcotics trafficking operation in various Baton Rouge locations.

Agents apprehended Stanley Wilson (23), Shedrick Smith (25), and Rekayla Taylor (30). Each suspect faces several charges.

Investigators said they performed hours of surveillance on Wilson and Smith and found drugs, guns, pills, and money in five different locations.

Agents stated that they seized the following:

-2.25 pounds of marijuana
-11 dosage units of Oxycodone pills
-Two dosage units of Trapendatol pills
-Three dosage units of Hydrocodone pills
-Ballistic bullet proof vest and carrier
-Six digital scales (Cocaine residue)
-Plastic bags, vacuum bags
-Glock, 27 Semi-auto (Stolen through Ascension Parish)
-Glock, 29 Semi-auto 10mm handgun
-Palmetto State Armory, PA-15 semi-auto 223 Caliber rifle
-Tristar 12 gauge shotgun
