2 People Arrested In Southern Indiana After 40 Pounds Of Meth Found In Cheetos Bags

Two people were detained after crashing into a sheriff’s office car and being captured with 40 pounds of meth In Evansville.

On March 5, officers from the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force were advised of two suspicious parcels at a local delivery facility addressed to a property in the 1800 block of Ridgeway Avenue, near Covert and South Weinbach Avenues. An officer discovered approximately 40 pounds of meth within the shipments, which included packets of Cheetos.

While conducting surveillance on the address associated with the shipments, investigators observed a white vehicle pull up to the premises and two people pick up the goods.

Moments later, detectives in marked vehicles sought to apprehend the suspects. As they attempted to flee, the suspect automobile collided with a deputy’s vehicle.

Goldie Flenor, 36, and Natasha Garner, 46, both of Los Angeles, California, were taken into custody without incident.

Both were accused of conspiring to distribute methamphetamines.
