A woman from Baltimore has been taken into custody for her involvement in an attempted murder case that took place in the Southwest District of the city last month.
Gloria McNeil, aged 34, voluntarily surrendered to the police at the Northwest District Station at approximately 8:00 p.m. on February 24. As a result, she now faces charges of attempted first-degree murder.
Around 4:00 p.m. on Feb. 16, officers were called to a hospital after receiving a report of a shooting victim who had walked in.
Upon arriving at the scene, the police discovered a 40-year-old man who had sustained a gunshot wound.
The authorities believe that the shooting took place on S. August Ave in the 400 block.
Following an investigation, the police concluded that McNeil was responsible for shooting the victim. Subsequently, she voluntarily surrendered herself to the authorities.
McNeil was taken into custody by the police and subsequently transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where she will now be held accountable for the charges against her.
