The Montgomery County Police Department has confirmed that Mehran Shahriyari, a 66-year-old man from Silver Spring who was often seen in Rockville Town Center and the vicinity of Route 355 and Shady Grove Rd., has been located and is in good condition.
MCPD reports that Mehran Shahriyari was last spotted on October 26th but was fortunately discovered safe and unharmed on December 20th. As is customary with resolved cases, the police have not disclosed any further information. Below is a press release regarding the incident, released earlier this week:
“Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Cold Case and Missing Persons Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mehran Shahriyari, a missing 66-year-old.
On Saturday, October 26, 2024, Shahriyari was last spotted in Silver Spring’s 13000 block of Marigold Ln. Standing at an impressive height of 6 feet, 2 inches and weighing 210 pounds, he sports a distinguished appearance with his short gray hair and gray/white beard.
