The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California has announced that three individuals affiliated with the Aryan Brotherhood prison gang have been convicted of engaging in racketeering activities. These activities encompassed a range of criminal offenses, including murder, drug trafficking, fraud, and robbery.
A federal jury has found 70-year-old California State Prison inmate John Stinson guilty of conspiracy to conduct the affairs of an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity, as stated by the department.
The department has confirmed that Francis Clement, a 58-year-old inmate at California State Prison, has been found guilty of five counts of murder. The victims in this case are Allan Roshanski, Ruslan Megomedgadzhiev, Michael Brizendine, James Yagle, and Ronnie Ennis.
California State Prison inmate Kenneth Johnson, 63, has been convicted of two counts of murder in aid of racketeering for the deaths of Roshanski and Megomedgadzhiev, as announced by the U.S. attorney’s office.
The department stated that both Clement and Johnson were also convicted of conspiring to conduct the operations of an enterprise through a series of illegal activities.
According to court documents, it was revealed that from 2015 to 2023, members and associates of the Aryan Brotherhood were involved in organized crime. During this period, they committed various crimes which included murder, conspiracy to commit murder, fraud, robbery, and drug trafficking.
The U.S. attorney’s office revealed that Stinson, Johnson, and Clement orchestrated and supervised the gang’s operations, utilizing illicit cellphones for communication.
According to the department, Stinson, who is recognized as a prominent figure in the organization, held a position of leadership and wielded considerable power. This included the responsibility of settling internal conflicts and giving consent for the assassination of present or former members.
According to the U.S. attorney’s office, Johnson and Clement allegedly ordered multiple murders in the Los Angeles area.
