According to sources, a spectacular police pursuit across several Valley communities culminated in the arrest of three people during a high-speed chase in Maricopa County.
The incident began when a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Deputy saw a car speeding on the incorrect side of the road close to Calle Cerritos and Avenida Del Yaqui.
According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the driver started the pursuit by not stopping when law officers signaled.
Reports state that a passenger in the chased vehicle allegedly brandished a firearm in the direction of a pursuing officer, swerving through streets before a passenger was dumped off, escalating danger.
US Head Topics notes that the scenario got more intense, with numerous patrol cars and a Tempe K-9 unit striking the fleeing automobile as the chase headed onto Calle Carlos.
The driver persistently evaded law enforcement’s compliance, leading to the deployment of the MCSO K-9 to subdue the suspect. After the confrontation with the K-9, the driver sought medical attention for the injuries he sustained during the incident, leading to the eventual detention of all three car occupants, according to US Headtopics.
