23-year-old New Jersey Man Accused Of Raping Teen Girl At Mall

A 23-year-old Bergen County man has been charged with raping a teenage girl on a Saturday night earlier this month in a hidden area of a mall.

Denys Ludisaca, of Little Ferry, has been charged with first-degree kidnapping, two instances of second-degree sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes revealed Tuesday.

On January 11, just before 11 p.m., the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office received an allegation that a girl aged 13 to 15 had been sexually abused at the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne.

Investigators from the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit recognized Ludisaca.

On January 16, police apprehended him at the same mall.

Judge Joseph Portelli of Passaic County’s Superior Court ordered Ludisaca’s detention for the duration of his case on Monday.

Anyone with information about this or other instances involving this individual can contact the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office at 1-877-370-PCPO.

If convicted, Ludisaca would be required to register with Megan’s Law and be under life parole supervision.

If the victim is under sixteen, a conviction for first-degree kidnapping alone carries a sentence of 25 to life in prison.
