Port Arthur Police Investigate Fatal Shooting of 21-Year-Old Woman
Port Arthur, Texas — Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday night, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Ximena Ojeda of Port Arthur.
The incident was reported to the Port Arthur Police Department late yesterday, according to Police Chief Tim Duriso. Officers responded to the scene on the 3200 block of 32nd Street, where they found Ojeda’s body inside a home.
While there have been no arrests at this time, Chief Duriso confirmed that a suspect has been identified, though their name has not yet been disclosed. The department is continuing to follow up on leads in the case.
The identity of the victim was released following notification of her family. Port Arthur Police are actively working on the investigation and seeking further information related to the incident.
