2 Teenage Girls And Two 18-year-old Boys Arrested For Holding 13-year-old Girl Hostage In New Jersey Hotel Room: Prosecutor

Four teenagers were arrested Sunday for keeping a 13-year-old girl captive inside a New Jersey hotel room and attempting to sexually assault her at gunpoint, according to authorities.

According to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, police rescued the girl that morning from a hotel on Passaic Avenue in Harrison, where she claimed a group had physically beaten her and held her against her will.

According to the prosecution, the minor victim said that the four youths attempted to sexually assault her and told police that they had guns.

During a search authorized by the court, officers found two handguns and hollow point bullets in the room. As a result, the four teenagers, all of whom live in Newark, were arrested.

Two 15-year-old girls have been charged with a series of serious offenses, including kidnapping, simple assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, conspiracy to kidnap, attempted sexual assault, possession of prohibited devices (specifically hollow point bullets), and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Additionally, one of the girls has also been charged with aggravated assault.

The identities of the individuals involved in the case have not been disclosed to the public due to their status as minors. Both of them are facing charges as juveniles.

Tavin McCullough and Kyle Green, both 18 years of age, have been charged with several offenses, including possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child, and possession of prohibited devices, specifically hollow point bullets.

The investigation is still in progress.
