2 Individuals From Connecticut Apprehended In Vermont Drug Bust

Two individuals from Connecticut have been arrested and are currently incarcerated following a drug bust in Brattleboro.

Vermont State Police have made arrests in connection with an ongoing investigation into the distribution of fentanyl and cocaine from a residence on Central Street. Rondale Mapp, a 38-year-old individual, and Rayteisha Hernandez, a 30-year-old individual, both from Hartford, Connecticut, have been taken into custody. The arrests were made following a thorough investigation that spanned several months.

According to authorities, Mapp and Hernandez were involved in multiple drug transactions, which were facilitated by confidential informants.

Mapp was granted bail in the amount of $50,000 on the drug sale charges, while Hernandez’s bail was set at $25,000.

Both individuals are scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
