Ridgeland police have made two arrests as part of their investigation into prostitution.
Samantha Jean Lombardi, aged thirty-five, and Lee Anthony Corentin, aged thirty-three, were apprehended by the Ridgeland Police Department at a nearby hotel on February 13th.
Lombardi faced charges for soliciting prostitution, while Corentin was accused of promoting prostitution.
After the officers arrested them, they found out that Lombardi had a 9 mm handgun that had been reported stolen by the Capitol Police Department. In addition, they also discovered liquid PCP, liquid codeine, 40 dosage units of Ecstasy, and 20 grams of methamphetamine in his possession.
Corentin was found to have a small amount of marijuana, which is considered a misdemeanor offense.
Lombardi faced a series of serious felony charges during his booking at the Ridgeland Police Department. These charges encompassed various offenses, such as conspiracy to commit a crime involving methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance (PCP), possession of a controlled substance with the intention to distribute methamphetamine, trafficking a controlled substance (ecstasy), possession of a stolen weapon, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and involvement in prostitution.
Corentin faces serious charges for promoting prostitution, a felony, as well as possessing drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
Both Lombardi and Corentin were taken to the Madison County Detention Center.
