1 Dead And 1 Injured In Brazen Bronx Murder And Robbery

Police are searching for four suspects in a deadly shooting and robbery that occurred Sunday evening in the Bronx’s Soundview neighborhood.

On December 15, about 5:57 p.m., four unidentified individuals approached a 24-year-old guy and a 26-year-old male in front of 2025 Seward Avenue. The individuals assaulted the 24-year-old in the face with a firearm, inflicting a laceration, and then discharged the weapon, hitting the 26-year-old in the back.

The suspects then violently stole the 24-year-old victim’s wallet and smartphone before escaping on foot northbound on Olmsted Avenue.

EMS transported both victims to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where they declared the 26-year-old man dead. We classify the 24-year-old victim as in stable condition.

The NYPD has released photographs of the suspects and is requesting the public’s help in identifying those responsible.

Authorities ask anyone with information to call the police as they attempt to identify those involved in the fatal shooting and robbery.
